Is there a deposit required to reserve my desired date? If so, when is it due and how much is the deposit? Is the deposit refundable?

  • We do require a $500.00 deposit to book a date. The deposit is due at the time of the booking. The deposit is non-refundable but is applied to the rental fee.

Can we leave our wedding clothing at the venue the night before the wedding?

  • We highly discourage leaving any items, especially wedding attire, overnight at the venue. You do so at your own risks. All items, including decorative items should be taken by a responsible person you designate the night of the event. Our staff will make a final walkthrough to ensure that all items have been taken by a person you designate.

Do you provide a space that guests could stay in overnight?

  • We do not have space designated for overnight guests. The closest hotel is seven miles from the venue.

Is there anyone from the venue available should we require attention or have questions?

  • A member of the Steel Magnolia Farms venue will be at the venue at all times. They are there to provide light assistance or answer any questions that might arise.

Can we have our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at the venue? Is there an additional fee for the rehearsal dinner? Can we use tables and chairs from the venue?

  • At this time you may have the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner at the venue on Friday evening as long as it is completed and all guests have left by 8:00 p.m. At this time there is no additional fee for the rehearsal dinner, but that is subject to change in the future. You must supply all food for the rehearsal dinner. You may use tables and chairs as long as they are returned to their original place before you leave. Table linens are not included.

Do you allow alcohol?

  • We allow beer, wine and champagne only. Cash bars are not allowed. Brown bagging alcohol into the venue is strictly prohibited and will be enforced. A designated bartender is required.

Do you provide glasses, cups, disposable plates and flatware?

  • We do not provide glasses, cups, disposable plates, flatware or napkins. Speak with your caterer about providing these items. We strongly suggest you have a conversation with your caterer if they are going to provide these items. These items, while one-time use, can be quite flimsy and can create spills.

Is there parking around the venue besides the designated parking at the entrance?

  • Parking is not allowed anywhere except at the designated parking at the entrance to the venue. Exception: There is designated parking for the bride and groom’s vehicle at the side of the venue. Vendors and other delivery vehicles may drop off their items at the entrance to the kitchen or the side door and then park in the designated parking lot. The golf cart is available to transport your guests and vendors.

Are animals allowed to be brought to the venue?

  • Service animals are allowed. Animals are not allowed to enter food areas such as the kitchen, buffet line or any other place where food or beverages are being served. You must clean up after any animal. The animal must be kept on a leash at all times. If the animal exhibits any aggressive behavior of any time, you will be required to remove the animal from the premises.
